Howdy friends,
Well, things didn’t go exactly as I planned for February. Remember all
those punches and fight scenes when I was doing Gunsmoke, rolling around on
the ground, falling off my horse, getting shot etc etc etc? Well that really
was me and not a stunt double (unless it was really dangerous). After 20 plus
years and few Gunsmoke movies plus How the West Was Won it finally caught
up with my shoulder and hand and created the arthritis that I am now experiencing.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining, I enjoyed every day of
work and wouldn’t change a thing. But I just want you to know why I
have had to take a hiatus from signing any autographs right now. It is feeling
a bit better now and I will try to start signing again in the near future.
I just didn’t want to disappoint any of you if my signature looked like
chicken scratches. As soon as I start signing again I will have the webmaster
put a notice on the home page.
I did have a nice February. I celebrated my wife’s birthday with all
the Grandkids and family. As always Janet got me a really nice present for
Valentine’s Day, a new lounge chair to sit back and watch Gunsmoke in.
I really like it.
