To all my friends and Fathers

I may be 87 years old but I still have wonderful memories of my Father and the fun things we did together. He would take me ice boating, fishing and camping. Even though he was a traveling salesman and on the road often when he came home he spent a lot of time with me and Peter. I really appreciated the time we had together because I missed him while he was gone. Those were the best of times.

Another man that impressed me was John Wooden. I am sorry to say that he passed away last week. My wife and I had the opportunity to meet him twice. The first time was at a simple coffee shop in Encino where many of the players would come in to see him. The second time we had lunch and he talked a lot about his father. John had a lot respect for his Father and felt that he had a great influence on his life. Before we left John handed me a card named “A Timeless Wisdom from a Godly Father”. I have kept that card in my wallet because John Wooden lived up to his Father’s advice. He was truly a great man. I have put a copy of the card with this letter. We can all benefit by this simple wisdom.

We finally have our eBay store up. We will be adding items from time to time and some of them will be things that have never been available on the website.
